Endpoint health
QuickBooks release and maintenance build, crash and freeze events, forced shutdowns, print/PDF failures, database-auth errors, qbwin.log signatures — read per machine and trended over weeks, not sampled once.
How it works
One small agent per machine, a cloud that never blinks, and three places the answers show up. Installed in minutes, invisible until it matters.
PowerShell, ~5 min cycle.
Ships metadata over HTTPS.
Ingest, timeline, thresholds.
Alerts the moment a pattern breaks.
Console, client portal,
weekly digest.
What the agent reads
Each collector is a small, auditable PowerShell module with one job. None of them can read company-file contents — there is no code path for it.
QuickBooks release and maintenance build, crash and freeze events, forced shutdowns, print/PDF failures, database-auth errors, qbwin.log signatures — read per machine and trended over weeks, not sampled once.
Latency and packet loss to the server, SMB round-trip time, negotiated NIC link speed and duplex, disconnect/flap counts. Measured from each workstation to the server it actually talks to.
Database Server Manager service state, hosting mode, who is hosting, company-file size and .TLG growth. The server-side half of every multi-user mystery.
Where each machine sits against the pinned release, what Intuit has published, and whether anything moved without you deciding it should.
Crash fingerprints and print-stack state, captured per machine — so when something does break, the diagnosis starts with evidence instead of a site visit.
The environmental baseline QuickBooks assumes: hosting configuration, service accounts, the settings that quietly reset after updates.
Where the answers land
Fleet health across every client site: who is crashing, who drifted, which link is degrading, which jobs ran. Queue an SFC scan, a DISM repair, or a Database Server Manager restart remotely — with live progress and logs streaming back.
A clean, org-scoped view of their own fleet: machines, health, trends and settings. Enrol a new workstation with a one-line command; revoke a machine the moment it leaves.
A branded weekly report of the fleet’s rhythm: crashes trending down, links holding, builds in line. Proof the quiet weeks were quiet because someone was watching.
Onboarding
Mint a short-lived install token in the portal, run one command in an elevated PowerShell, done. The token expires on its own; the machine exchanges it for a per-device credential you can revoke individually — one compromised workstation never burns the site.
